Where can I find the current inventory of my items?

In this article you will learn where you can view the inventory of your items and what it says.

in the ExpoCloud software we distinguish between two basic types of inventory:

Available inventory

In the ExpoCloud portal you have the possibility to book your exhibition equipment for events and also to order advertising material or brochures individually.

In the order process, we always show you the current available stock of the item for the desired date. This is not the actual stock that is currently physically in stock in our logistics centre, but the quantity that is available on the date that you have entered in the order process.

You have the option of triggering an order in the ExpoCloud portal for an event that will take place in the distant future, for example - the items you order will be blocked accordingly for the period of your event. This is the only way we can guarantee the desired processing of your order. This means that the item is still physically in stock with us, but it can no longer be ordered by users who would also like to book an event at that time.

The available stock is therefore the actual stock minus all orders for this item that conflict with the date entered when the order process was started.

The display of the available stock is also very relevant for the colleagues who are responsible internally for the procurement of new advertising material or brochures, for example. They can plan ahead and replenish the stock in good time, thus avoiding additional express costs for urgent reordering. By the way, to make it easier for you to check the stocks in the portal, we can also store individual minimum stocks for each item. As soon as the stock falls below this level due to orders placed, you will receive a report from us and can flexibly decide whether to place a repeat order for the item.
