Login process for myWWM

Introduction

With the current change to the registration process at myWWM, all users now have access to a new, modern login option. The old login page mywwm.com/login still redirects to the previous system, while the new procedure can be accessed via https://mywwm.com/next-login.

The new procedure offers two ways to log in:

This article explains step by step how both methods can be used, what the requirements are, and what advantages the new system offers.

1. Modern method via Microsoft authentication (primarily recommended)
2. Classic method with email and password (secondary, optional)

1. Modern method: Logging in using Microsoft authentication

Requirements

• The user's email address is already registered in myWWM Legacy.
• The user's company uses the modern Entra authentication method.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the login page: https://mywwm.com/next-login.
2. Click on the “Microsoft” button.
3. Note: Registration is not required for this.
4. Select your Microsoft account (if you have more than one).
5. Confirmation by the identity provider (if required):
   
   1. In some companies, the login must be approved by the identity provider (e.g., Microsoft Entra).  (See image 2)
   2. If additional approval or authorization is requested, accept it or contact your IT administrator to enable access. (See image 3)
6. After successful login, you will be redirected to the home page, provided your email address is already registered in myWWM Legacy.

Technical details 

• In the background, the new authentication system creates an entry for the email address and activates the SSO function via Microsoft. 
• When you visit https://mywwm.com/next-login again, you will be logged in automatically without having to enter anything manually. 

Tip: This is the recommended and primary way to log in.

 

2. Classic method: Logging in with email and password

Requirements

• Your old login details (email address and password) are only valid for the old login page, not for the new system.
• The password is stored and encrypted in the new system. 

Step-by-step instructions

1. Go to the new login page: https://mywwm.com/next-login.
2. Click Register to create a new password for the new system.
3. On the registration page:
   1. Enter the official company name (only for the authentication database, not for the billing address).
   2. Enter your first and last name.
4. On the password page:
   
   1. Enter your email address, which will be used later to log in.
   2. Please make sure to use the same email address as for your original myWWM account, otherwise we will not be able to assign your account. 
   3. Create a new password and confirm it by entering it again.
   4. Click on Register.
5. After successful registration, you can log in with the new combination of email address and password.
   
   
   

Important information

• The classic method should only be used if registration via Microsoft is not possible.
• If you still encounter problems, please contact your Key Account Manager or send an email with a detailed description of the problem and, if necessary, a screenshot to support@expocloud.com. 

Summary 

• The modern Microsoft method is fast, automatic, and recommended. 
• The classic email/password method is optional and only necessary if the modern method is not available.

With the new registration, users benefit from secure, simple, and automated authentication.
